In Holiday Mood!

So guys, this is gonna be a rather long post! Not in the aspect of words but in pictures just cuz I have so much to show you all after being dormant for quite a while!

So let's start off with the latest happening! It was Gin's birthday on the 4th of January! She turned 19 and have only 2 more years before she can LEGALLY drink…*chuckles*…so Naomi and I decided to bake her a cake and surprise her after a day's out at the Mall of America!

A few days ago, I met some new Taiwanese friends! And guess what! One of them were good at making Taiwanese dumplings! So I went over to her apartment and helped her with the wrapping and stuff! It was delicious. We had so many we couldn't move after finishing the whole plate of dumplings!

Moving on…the winter here in Minnesota is rather harsh. It snows like crazy on blizzard days which can make the snow up to a foot tall! Though cold, I really like it here as I get to wear all sorts of cool winter jackets and play in the snow! Also, this coming Friday, I'm going downhill skiing! Woohoo! It's gonna be uber fun!

The week before Christmas, my roommate and I decided to brighten up our apartment. Though still in the process, I think we're making good progress. I started with brightening up the bathroom (I know I'm being crazy but it was fun!) and my roommate decided to make a painting to hang on our door. It depicts the living area of our apartment and looks like a window from outside. Look at the pictures and you'll know what I mean!

Now moving back to about 2 months ago, I went to Wichita to visit Ui San! It was great meeting up with him after so long! He brought me around town and to his college as there was an event going on at that time. Also for dinner, he brought me to Olive Garden, a really good Italian restaurant! The food was superb as usual.

Halloween! It was fan-freaking-tastic! I went to two parties, both of which was equally fun and crazy! For the one at Gin's place, we had to go in dinosaur costumes. So for that, some other friend and I decided to make fake nails and wear green scaly gloves to look like dinosaur claws. Also, we wore green sweaters and green socks to look more like a dinosaur! It was a great party as we had so many mix drinks (Cosmopolitans, Margueritas, Martinis, etc…) most of us were drunk at the end of it!

I think so far, that's all for now! Oh yea, I'm redecorating my room and our living area. So I'll be posting pictures of those up as soon as it's done!

So ends my 17th post…
